C. Eric Schmidt, Attorney at LawC. Eric Schmidt was admitted to practice law in the State of New York on September 5, 1979. Thereafter. Mr. Schmidt was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas on May 15, 1980. Mr. Schmidt opened his own law firm in 1983.

Mr. Schmidt is presently licensed to practice law before the Texas Supreme Court, the Supreme Court of the State of New York, and before the United States District Court for the Southern and Western Districts of the State of Texas.

As a part of his efforts to continue his education and to enhance his understanding of changes in the law, C.E. Schmidt has made continuing education a priority.

Over the past twenty years, C.E. Schmidt has completed over three hundred hours of continuing education course credits. He earned recognition for this effort by the State Bar of Texas sponsored "College of the State Bar of Texas." In order to qualify for membership in the College of the State Bar of Texas, an attorney must complete at least thirty hours of continuing education credits for each year of membership in said association.

During the time period from 1981 to 2001, Mr. Schmidt achieved further distinction for his efforts in continuing legal education by gaining special recognition as a "FELLOW" of the College of the State Bar of Texas. Mr. Schmidt has also taught legal courses at the University of Texas-Health Science Center as an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Public health and Graduate School of Biological Sciences. Mr. Schmidt has also been recognized in Who's Who In American Law - 1991 and 2000.
